Our Story

Hello and welcome to Rylee Roo! Let's start with a little back story of who we are and why we are here. My name is Brooke, I have been a Mechanical Engineer for the last 11 years, I had always felt unfulfilled in my 9-5 office job and had often contemplated switching careers throughout the years.

In 2019, I had my daughter, Rylee, and from the moment she was here (okay lets be honest, the shopping addiction started before she was here) I found joy in finding and buying the most stylish, soft, and comfortable clothes for my little girl to wear. This is where my love of bamboo clothing was discovered.

In 2020, as most of us sat home during the pandemic, I had a lot of time to reevaluate my career and what I was doing with my life. I realized that infant and children’s wear was something I was more passionate about than just buying the clothes for my daughter, I wanted to start designing and creating them myself! I began to spend my nights on the computer researching and developing a plan. I knew that starting a business would be hard work, especially since I was doing it on my own, but it has all been worth it and such a learning experience I am grateful for.

Rylee Roo is a nickname we have had for our daughter since she was born and because she was the inspiration behind creating this company, it was only fitting that I call it Rylee Roo. It is surreal and it brings me so much happiness when I hear my daughter say “mommy made these” as she runs around the house in her Rylee Roo pajamas.

I hope that you and your little ones enjoy the clothes as much as I enjoy designing them! Coming from an engineering background, I take pride in how much of a perfectionist I am and I hope that reflects in the products I sell.
